Modoc Research Services was founded in 2005 by Julienne Orr. With over 20 years of clinical research experience, Ms. Orr serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Modoc. Before starting Modoc, Ms. Orr held leadership positions within the pharmaceutical and CRO industry where she focused her expertise on early phase clinical trial management. Her career includes positions within GlaxoSmithKline, the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group at Duke University School of Medicine, Duke Clinical Research Institute and Parexel. Additionally, she has extensive expertise and proficiency in managing both national and international studies across therapeutic areas including oncology, pediatric cardiology, geriatric metabolic research, and infectious diseases including respiratory and HIV. Ms. Orr attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a degree in Pharmacy. She is a licensed pharmacist and a member of:

Active in the economic development of the clinical research industry within North Carolina, Ms. Orr is a member of the Advisory Board for Biotechnology in Southeastern North Carolina and currently serves as co-chair of the Clinical Research Regional Exchange Group of the Southeastern NC Biotechnology Center.
